Dudley Road on Wilson Green closed by the Police.
There is quite a lot of police in the area and police helicopter is hoovering around. All businesses are closed now and I’ve only seen few people on the street. Mainly families escorted by sons and fathers heading back home. Local community is organised and people are looking after each other, determined to defend their homes and businesses.
All valuables and alcohol were already removed from the shops in the morning so only essential products were available today.
About 5PM a group of 12 hooded guys carrying bricks were observed on Shenstone Road. All 15-16 y/o. Police has responded immediately. Most of them has been arrested at Barleycom Drive.
It feels like a silence before the storm here and I can feel huge tension everywhere. People are preparing for the battle. Some of them has already left their homes. The other are armed in bats and clubs. Rioters, if come, won’t have an easy live here. Please stay home and pray for us as this night may be worst of all.
I can also confirm that apart of tragic death of the three brave, finest members of our community there was a pile of rubbish and car set alight on Dugdale St and Winson St last night. Photos will be available on Facebook soon.
